Name: Breegan Birthday: 11/16/1988 Gender: Female
Interests: I am part of the "blogger" generation. Curse me for letting myself invest time in such a thing, but my intention to stop is distant. My interests? Love, knowledge, human reaction, physcology. That entails, of course, dance, the observation of the japanese language and culture, the perusal of others around me. It is interesting, indeed. Expertise: How could I describe my expertise? Expertise, in my opinion, is hardly attainable. How can I claim to be an expert when I have still so much more to learn? Occupation: Other Industry: Art

| My demon...died.
*wahhhhh!*
Yea, so I'll be using an old laptop that is hanging around our house for the time being...
Go superbowl.
So DIZZY. | | |
| Yea. I noticed. It's been a while since I've updated my xanga. Very lame of me.
I've been busy, and I've been doing other things on the computer. FORGIVE ME!
A new semester has started, college auditions have happened, and friends have freaked out. So that's it. MY LIFE, in a neat bullet-point format:
- Well, I went to SMU in texas and the audition was fine, but the trip there was HELL. Just...ack. Try to avoid O'Hare at all costs, is my advice to any travelers.
- I started new classes and they are an absolute joy. My intermediate drawing class was canceled for lame reasons, and so i had to take Intro to Acting which is pretty chill anyways. And Tales of the Jazz age is an AWESOME class. And, yes, I have carefully chosen awesome as a proper adjective to explain how I feel. Now, let's see. Supreme Court is my other class, and it's cool. I got to meet Sen. Carl Levin...Ah, those filthy, filthy senators. Actually, Levin is pretty cool. Not as chill as Obama, but hey, no one is quite as chill as Obama.
Oh, that reminds me of this really really awesome guy that came to talk to us in our intro to acting class. I percieve him as one of the wisest people I've met in my life. He went to Julliard in '68 (part of the first theater class at julliard EVER)
"Go through life with your arms wide. Stay open. Stay unfinished"
I don't know his name, but he was very, very intellegent. I guess the question I asked him really impressed him, because he said "That question speaks volumes about your maturity as an artist, you are a true artist when you are concerned about such things." Then he came up to me especially and took my hand and said "nice to meet you" It was so cool. I just respect him so much.
Anyway, I'm done with that...
I apologize for the lack of updates / comments.
Many hearts...

| ACK! It's been awhile, adoring fans. *laughs*
It's that DAMN myspace, sucking everyone (and me) in to it's evil graspes.
So I've put a new song up. It's K-OS love. K-OS = heart. Anyway, nothing incredibly interesting has been going on. I'm going to Josiah's house (hopefully) on monday.
I'm just now realizing how hard it is to get yourself to do HW over break. And oh boy, I've got plenty to do. No big deal though.
Went to a fancy part last night. *sigh* Jolly Fellows of Kalamazoo. It was jolly. I was, indeed the youngest there, I must say, but it was kind of funny seeing all the drunk adults dancing. I, of course, danced, and had a very wonderful time, well, as fun as you can have when you are the ONLY sober one in a room full of a hundred people! *laughs* They were old. It was a diverse event, I noticed about halfway into the night that only about 30 percent of people were white. I hardly even noticed at all, which is very wonderful.
Anyway, we didn't get back till late, and I had to wear high heel for several hours. And a very small black dress. And it was freaking COLD in there. I couldn't wait to get on sweatpants at home! We got some pictures, so maybe I can get those on here.
Well, sorry again for not updating. I'm going to go finish the laundry, then I'll go comment on some other xanga sites! | | |
| Recently I've been really into zen and zen-inspired poetry. I've read a
poem called "After Ikkyuu" By Jim Harrison, which is like...zen
inspired poetry. It's published in 1996, so the vocabulary is that
which I am familiar with. Then I started reading about Ikkyuu,
who is totally a riot. Very entertaining and quite racy indeed: his
poems. He has these poems about the sexual parts of a male and female's
body that are just so tender and so freaking straightforward. It's so
hilarious, and completely out of the norm. Now, I'm doing this,
and I definitely should be studying for my big russian literature
test...(That would be a good idea, wouldn't it?)
Hah. But I'm too interested in Japanese poetry! *whines*
I really DO have too much to do, so I might be somewhat inactive for a while. But I also might find time.
Meh...Have a good day.
Ja ne, all.

| I wanted to walk through the empty streets And feel something constant beneath my feet But all the news reports reccomended that I stay indoors. Because the air outside will make Our cells divide at an alarming rate, Until our insides cannot hold all our insides in, And that's when we'll explode
(and it wont be a pretty site)

Random Postal Service lyrics. Those particular lyrics make me happy.
And yes, I redid the color scheme. It makes me happy to do that every once and a while. *nods*
I'm learning something new about myself everyday.
Words. They are so innefficient. We cannot even begin to express the complexity of ourselves in them. I think there are much better ways of communication.
But...
Most people are not concerned with learning how to converse in silence. It makes them uncomfortable. So, while I'm here, I shall learn to master the art of words as best as I can. I don't mean that I'm gonna become a novelist, or anything...As I prefer to converse silently, many people I have met do not understand that. And, if I wish to learn from everyone I meet, words might be what they are most comfortable with. (Not everyone, of course.) I myself have not mastered conversing in silence either. Observation is the first step, maybe? One sided silent conversations, that would be.
I met a cool person on the plane. He was nice.
I shall go now, but everyone have a good day. I with it upon you...
